Bali Jan 2012
All my trip start with boredom but this is the trip i wait for. Wishing for a resting and relaxing trip. Somehow ...
First day arriving to Kuta which is still in bright time. As we reached to A1 Apartment, it is totally just like what we have from the web photo. It is nice and new.
We then went out to Nusa Dua to have a short tour.
Lastly to Damos Cafe at Jimbaran to have our first dinner/meal. Which real famous with sunset with beach view, most romance dinning. Somehow it is not cheap, and we found out that they don't seems to be that honest but still good food. Anyway, no sunset and no outdoor dinner due to the raining season.
We then back to Legian street to have our first night party. We then have choose Engine Room. It is really fantastic whereby, everyone is so friendly and what a joke. The eldest in our group was a very outgoing person and there is a guy approaching him to dance and keep make fun on him. We said "the eldest still have a very good market (the eldest is a guy)".
The next day, we first have rice, ayam bertutu, satay, egg, and vege for our breakfast.
First stop will be the famous Tanah Lot. But this round we unable cross over to the temple due to the rise of the water level. This is the day i got sunburn, real painful.
Ubud, the culture of the town. We have the famous Babi Guling. This round i totally unable to accept the taste of the Babi Guling.
We check-in to Swan Inn, it is totally a very old tradition inn which have no air-cond and fully felt that i'm really in another country.
Again i visit to the Ubud market, I've bought quite some item. It is a real good place to do purchasing. Luckily this round i able to visit the so called "ancient king's palace" that the first round i didn't able to visit but sad that i didn't go through some other shop.
At night time , we try the famous dirty duck = "bebek bengil". It is nice and environment is good, price is reasonable.
We went back to take shower and have a rest, then we out to have our supper time = "yum cha time" at Tutmak. I drink a glass of hot milk and nachos. I know it is weird combination but it give me a relaxing time.
I have a horrible night, as there is really like a countryside. Lots of different frog barking and a real big rain with my cough whole night. The very nest morning, have a bread with egg and also some fruit as my breakfast which provide by the inn.
We decided not to come for second night, therefore we had our spa on that morning and a short shopping trip. On the way to other places we try to get some durian but unable due to the price and also seems to be not nice at in Malaysia.
While we are heading to another place, we take our lunch at the Warung Makan PANIKI. It is very nice "nasi goreng" and "ayam goreng".
We then reach to "Berdugul Market" which is a place having the weather like Cameron Highlands and is a total market sell fruits and hand made stuff.
The famous tourism spots, Temple of Lake. This round is worst compare to my first trip. Raining, makes the view more blur.
Gigit waterfall, which i'm not interested to as i been before. But they told me actually there is few Gigit waterfall there. This round i'm going to Gigit Twin Waterfall, where it really gives me a totally different feeling compare to the first one. It is quite mysterious.
As the sun dawn, we reached Lovina. The place full with fantasia whereby as long as you able to ride a boat out to the sea, you will able to meet up with dolphins. But before we meet up with dolphins, we have a wonderful and reasonable dinner at Ranggon Sunset.
My other mates went out to visit all those cute dolphins. As for me this round, i stay in the hotel to have a nice rest and also, slow down my step to have a wonderful breakfast.
We then continue our journey to hot spring at Banjar. It is quite a nice place, but i don't really like it as the water is milky colour.
On our way to Amed, we stop at half way to have our lunch, it is a superb slow restaurant and also expensive. Anyway, their food is normal.
We soon arrive to the Bali Bhuana beach, Amed. What a enjoyable time where we have the whole resort. it is quite romance if i could be only with my love one.
During the night time, we went to the western restaurant to have a western food as our dinner. It have a great environment which can give it 4 star and the food is great also but the price is REASONABLE. This makes my day great.
The very next day, we went to the beach to swim but i rally scare of their beach. Their sand is black and the sea water is quite milky colour (maybe due to the raining season) and the coral mostly is hard coral. After that, 8 of us spread to 2 group as me and the other 2 mates stay in Amed for another night. Therefore, we stay in another resort to have a cheaper one which we found Anugrah Villas. It gives me the most relaxing place, really wish to stay there for few days.
We then went to look for our lunch at Sunset View Bungalows & Restaurant. The meal is not the main for this meal but the environment is superb fantastic as we are like in a Neverland.
A great meal ends and we get back to pull our step more slower, to create our relaxing like sleeping, swimming, reading, or listening music.
During night time, we have our dinner in the villa. Although the meal is nothing special but we learned that "Fuyung Hay" equals to fried egg with vege. The meal is so cheap.
At last, i able to explore to some new places in Bali. There is 2 places which is called as Candidasa and Sanur. We stop at a seaside which have lot of stalls selling food. I've the most great fried rice and also "Bakso Ayam" (the soup taste like "Ba Kut Teh").
We also stop at the Sanur beach and we found out that the place quite famous of prostitute area just like Geylang, Singapore or Chow Kit road, Malaysia. Whereby if there is "X" next to the number of the house is the signage.
I'm back to Kuta after a long journey with exploring around Bali island. I've visit to the Discovery Shopping Mall which makes me feel so impress and in love where i'm back to the city. It is located near the beach.
During the night time, we have our dinner at Bamboo Corner. The meal and price is nice like chinese food in Malaysia and reasonable.
The next day morning, I went for pedicure and some shopping. During lunch time I've the most expensive meal for the whole trip for only a chicken rice.
Due to raining the whole day, we aren't able to proceed for our journey to Uluwatu and Blue point. Therefore we stay in a shopping mall, i've bought J.CO doughnuts as there is Avacado flavour. It taste quite good.
I then end my journey with washing my hair at a saloon before taking my flight. The shampoo give the smell of chocolate. Real weird but it feels good as it makes me cool my hair. Before that i bought some cheesy rolls from Pizza Hut which i don't see they sell in Malaysia. It taste great.
Fantastically end my journey to Bali.
